Przedszkole Miejskie Nr 151

Municipal Kindergarten No. 151 is located in Łódź. Łódź is a large city in the center of Polish, near the capital. Our past and tradition give the possibility of organizing international events under the slogan "Łódź - City of Four Cultures". A mix of many traditions, history and religions (Polish, German, Jewish and Russian) present in our city affects its character. Łódź rebuilds ties with tradition in excellent way. Our city was also a candidate for the title of European Capital of Culture in 2016. In Lodz there are many places where you can spend your free time - theaters, cinemas, museums, pubs, discos. No trip to Lodz is complete without walking down Piotrkowska Street, one of the longest streets in Europe. Everything we need we can buy in shopping centers - Manufaktura and Galeria Łódzka. In our city there are many restaurants where you can eat traditional dishes from different countries. In the vicinity of our organization there are: ZOO, Botanical Garden, sports center - Arena, swimming pools, parks. From our kindergarten is close to the center of Lodz. It is easy to move everywhere, because we have easy access to public transport - buses, Trams. We are primarily motivated to work with volunteers by the enormous effects of this program in the overall dimension for the entire kindergarten as a municipal institution, as well as individually - for individual people, coordinator in the educational institution, volunteer, pupils, parents and other stakeholders of the kindergarten. We have been in the program since 2012 and share our knowledge with new volunteers, learn from them new methods, new approaches, learn about their culture, and most of all, thanks to it, we function in an international environment. Every year we see how it positively affects our pupils, so we want to continue our work with the EKS program.
