Groep INTRO vzw

Groep INTRO is an organization that aims to improve the social position of vulnerable people, both youngsters and adult. We do this by empowering the individuals through group work and individual mentoring. We also work with teachers, youth workers and amployers to give them tool to be more inclusive. We offer our target group possibilities in different areas of their life: employment, vocational training, education (school), non-formal education (leisure), working experience in social enterprise and inclusive entrepreneurship. Groep INTRO is a non-governmental organization. The Name Groep INTRO is a reference to the believe that for an introduction back into society it is important to feel the power of a group: not being alone, not being the only one who struggles. Our baseline is ‘Together Towards Growth’ and it’s this growth that we seek to accomplish in working with our participants in everything we do. Groep INTRO is a big non-profit organization, spread around Flanders and Brussels in about 70 locations and with more than 1000 employees. Half of them are employes at our incluive enterprise where we offer employment itselfve as a tool for personal growth. These activities go from greenkeeping, restaurants, bike repair, cleaning, .... Every year we seek to empower thousands of youngsters and adults. We reacht over 20.000 'clients' each year. Empowerment is the central methodology during training and supporting activities, with a focus on improving their competences, en
