LYCEE PAUL CEZANNE

The Lycée Cézanne is a public institution that welcomes students who are preparing for the baccalaureate as well as students who are preparing for entrance exams to the "grandes écoles". It offers training in the artistic, literary, economic and scientific fields to nearly 2000 young people and specific courses in film, dance and theater. The number of staff is close to 300, including about 200 teachers. The school population can be described as privileged, but social diversity exists. Multiple activities are organized in the artistic and cultural, humanitarian, educational and festive fields. The languages taught are English, German, Italian, Spanish, Arabic, Russian and Provencal. The high school's documentation and information center is a lively space that welcomes all students and promotes the practice of information research, reading and cultural openness. In addition to the daily reception of the students in autonomy, activities with the students and their teachers are organized throughout the year. The Lycée Cézanne is very close to the city center of Aix-en-Provence (you can go downtown on foot), in an open and wooded area of almost 6 hectares.
