DAFNE-ASSOCIAZIONE A TUTELA DELLA DONNA E DEL MINORE - ETS

DAFNE is a non profit organisation located in San Salvo (Ch) Italy. It was founded in 2012 by a group of women with specific skills in the psycho-social field, professionally engaged in activities to promote gender issues related to cultural change, awareness raising and prevention of the phenomenon of violence against women and girls. Its expertise is women empowerment and the social field is the scope of the Association’s activities. We are dedicated to empowering women, especialy young girls, to achieve their full potential by inspiring them to become advocates, change makers and leaders in their community. We equip them with psychological support, resources, opportunities to networking, learning and sharing of experiences. Dafne’s main aims are: -supporting the rights of women and young girls especially those who undergo social deprivation and/or are discriminated -fighting any form of violence against women: domestic, physical, psychological and sexual including stalking and mobbing -supporting active citizenship and European awareness of young people by promoting international volunteer activities that contribute both to their personal, social and civic development and to the enrichment of their local community through exchange with other realities -raising public and institutional awareness through seminars, debates, conferences and events aimed at cultural and legislative developments in the field of gender inequality, discrimination and violence
