ANKAA Project MKO

The ANKAA Project, founded in 2018 is a registered NGO in Greece. ANKAA aims to work with people to facilitate inclusion in the Athens community with vocational training, education, employment opportunities and skill exchange, all supported by a collaborative and dynamic network of partners and individuals. Rather than focusing our efforts o Our beneficiaries are identified as displaced persons. This includes refugees, asylum seekers, Greeks or any other members of the community who wish to partake in our programs. We bring people together to break the cycle of disempowerment, and work towards mutual goals that are economically, socially, culturally and educationally sustainable and beneficial to all participants. To achieve these goals, ANKAA Project MKO (NGO) will be supported by ANKAA Project ASBL in Luxembourg: please note the following text referenced as REF A to understand the close link between both organizations. ==> REF A: the following text will be repeated in different paragraphs *** ANKAA Project GR and ANKAA Project LU have a common goal: inclusion of displaced persons in the Athens society. ANKAA Project Asbl LU supports ANKAA Project GR through strategic planning, fundraising, networking, raising awareness, … As sender organization ANKAAproject asbl (LU; with quality label eu) will prepare Luxembourg volunteers for ANKAA Project MKO (GR). The ESC project will be led by a working group with members from both organizations (ANKAA in Luxembourg acting as a sender organization and ANKAA in Greece as the receiver organization ) to guide the volunteers in every step of his volunteering process. The volunteers will benefit from the close collaboration between the two organizations understanding and mastering all the steps of the end to end process. The receiving organization will have an internal and close support for all tasks of the sender’s side which impacts to the receiver tasks.
