The Kielce Cultural Centre (KCK) is the largest cultural institution of Kielce and Świętokrzyskie region. The basic tasks of the KCK include the creation, dissemination and protection of culture. We create conditions for the development of a professional artistic movements. We strive to recognize, awaken and meet cultural needs and interests. KCK has got two stages – Main (714 seats) and Small (200 seats), art gallery, rehearsal rooms, wardrobes, etc. KCK is the organizer of many events on national and international range. It is an institution with an extremely wide artistic profile, enabling viewing of theatrical, opera, musical and ballet performances in full stage setting. The target group of the KCK is each age group: children, teenagers, adults, seniors, as well as disabled people. We organize cultural events, performances, concerts, competitions, festivals, courses, exhibitions, meetings. Every year KCK organizes hundreds of artistic events. In addition to one-off projects, KCK also implements constant projects with great success, such as: OFF FASHION - International Competition for Designers and Fashion Enthusiasts MEMORIAL TO MILES TARGI KIELCE JAZZ FESTIVAL DOCUMENTARY FORMS FESTIVAL “NURT” “LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL” – PHOTOGRAPHIC COMPETITION “SLEEPNESS SALON” – AUTHORS’ MEETINGS “SUMMER STAGE” – OUTDOOR CONCERTS For over 20 years in KCK work two, creative groups: "SCENA AUTORSKA STUDIO" and TEATR "PEGAZ". There are creative theatrical and artistic projects that implements theater concepts and other outstanding artistic forms. There is also "WINDA" - Gallery of Contemporary Art. The exhibition hall presents works of the greatest artists of contemporary polish painting and conducted art workshops. The gallery curator regularly organizes art workshops on various topics for school groups. Every year KCK and the Board of Education in Kielce conduct a Language Culture Week. Since 2019 works "Theater after the Third Bell", and since the beginning of 2020, the comedy theater "Tetatet". The KCK also operates in the field of cultural and artistic education. The workshop activity is directed to children and youth as well as for seniors and families with children. We plan to create a Children's Academy of Fine Arts and theater classes for seniors and people with down syndrome.
