The City Council of Ciudad Real constitutes a local territorial administration and its functions and powers are regulated under the framework of the Spanish Constitution of 1978. The powers and services it provides are regulated in articles 25 to 28 of Law 7/1985, of 2 April, Regulator of the Bases of the Local Regime. In information and communication, we refer to art. 13 et seq. of Law 39/2015, of October 1´. Europe Direct is the European Commission service based in Ciudad Real and part of the City Council, which acts as a host entity. For the dissemination of information, the means that allow remote information are promoted, whether they are publications, telephone systems, radio, television, web, social networks on the Internet, etc. The functions of attention and information to the citizen that, in general, are provided by the different services of the City Council are: to. Reception and welcome to citizens, in order to provide them with the guidance and help they need. b. Guidance and information, the purpose of which is to offer clarifications and practical help that citizens require regarding procedures, procedures, requirements and documentation for projects, actions or requests, or to enjoy a public service or benefit from a benefit. c. Management, in relation to administrative procedures. d. Receive initiatives or suggestions made by citizens, increase performance or savings in public spending, simplify procedures, etc. and. Receiving complaints and claims from citizens for various irregular actions. F. Assistance to citizens in the exercise of the right to petition, recognized by articles 29 and 77 of the Constitution. Based on the foregoing, the City Council of Ciudad Real has various information and citizen service points: Citizen Service Office, Tourism Office, IMPEFE (Municipal Institute for Economic Promotion, Training and Employment), etc. Regarding the Ciudad Real Youth Space, it is the headquarters of the Youth and Childhood Department of the Ciudad Real City Council and brings together different activities and training opportunities for the youth of Ciudad Real. The building has excellent accessibility. Its location is close to the Conservatory of Music, several sports centers or the Las Vías leisure park, which favor the interest of the young public in the service. Its location is easy and direct, with suitable natural elements, proximity to public transport, easy access to pedestrians and road traffic, and convenient and safe location for users. The building, which has a characteristic cube shape and is located in a square situated at a lower level than street level, is planned as an open space with three floors. • On the ground floor we find: lobby, reception, alternative leisure room, assembly hall and representations, room of the Local Youth Council • On its first floor: a place dedicated to creation, training and information activities. We find: association area, multipurpose rooms, Europe Direct Ciudad Real room, computer room, information and documentation center • On the second floor: area dedicated to image and sound activities. We found: rehearsal rooms, image set, image post-production room, sound booth, multimedia classroom, youth resource center. Every quarter, the Youth Space prepares a practical and training offer aimed at the youth of Ciudad Real, as well as an annual call for grants for projects of youth initiative activities carried out by youth organizations. As an example we can mention: • Alternative leisure activities: every Friday different proposals are made, based on the proposals of various youth associations, aimed at the young public in Ciudad Real. It is known as "Leisure Space".
