MJ Ciney is a youth house with the mission to encourage young people from 12 to 26 years old to develop a critic, active, responsible and solidarity citizenship thanks to social, cultural and artistic practices as well as the participation to social, economical, cultural and political aspects of the society. The main activities of the Youth house are several: 1. Welcome space: 35h/week the youth house is open to any young person wishing to come. It is a place dedicated to the young people which allow them to meet and to decide on the activities they want to do while they are here. 2. Activities and excursions: it can themed evenings (debates, karaoke nights, blind test...) or sport, cultural, artistic activities (visits, paintball, going to the seaside, theatre...) 3. Summer activities and camps: 11 summer activities and 6 camps were proposed during summer 2021 by the youth house about radio, sport, theatre, hip-hop, skate and so on 4. Weekly workshops: about 40h/week are dedicated to thematic workshops such as music (guitar, drums, singing and so on), artistic (fashion design, theatre, improv...) or sport (chinese box, fitness, self defence...) 5. Projects: projects allow young people to realise their own projects according to their expectations or dreams, they are accompanied by the youth house staff in the implementatin of these projects that takes time, from the idea to the implementation 6.
