The « Bureau Information Jeunesse » is one of the many structures which are labelled “Information Jeunesse”. It is a mission of general interest, defined and guaranteed by the State of France. At the “Bureau Information Jeunesse” all young people can find answers to their requests of information in terms of professional and educational guidance as well as questions about other aspects of their daily life. The professionals are there to first listen to the young adults and to then inform them and help them clarify their needs and future projects. It is a resource center about all the subjects that concern young people of the age from 11 to 29 years old. The service of the BIJ is : - A place free of any charges, anonyme, personalised and accessible without an appointment in advance. - A theme based documentation with free consultation. - Information on site, via e-mail, call or mail. - The specific thematics: employment, training, living and housing, health, law, Europe, leisure - Thematic workshops concerning one of the listed subjects A “BIJ mobile” does interventions at middle schools and high schools - Personalised guidance - The redaction of a CV and a motivational letter.
