QENDRA E ZHVILLIMIT TE SHOQERISE CIVILE DURRES

The Civil Society Development Center (CSDC) Durres promotes and supports the development of civil society in the Durres region through support, mobilization and bringing together the most important actors from civil society and local government. CSDC is very effective in coordinating and empowering civil society organizations and actors in the Durrës region, focusing on youth and gender equality. Our target group is mainly youth and vulnerable communities. From many years of experience, CSDC has influenced civil society organizations and successfully promoted cooperation, activism and networks of civil society organizations and local governments. In addition to strengthening existing civil society groups, the center encourages and supports the creation of new organizations and community-based groups. The center advises local nonprofits on new programs, assists with document translation, creates educational and outreach materials, connects professionals in the community, and facilitates training, workshops, and seminars. This center also provides logistical support including meeting rooms, photocopying, computer access, fax and telephone lines, and a resource library. In addition to strengthening existing civil society groups, the center also encourages and supports the creation of new organizations. CSDC is always open to the ideas of motivated individuals who seek to improve local conditions and strengthen Albanian democracy.
