Obchodná akadémia v Senici

We are a vocational secondary school with specification in economics and business. Our goal is to provide quality education and to raise young people who can use their knowledge and skills in their work life. At the same time, we aim to bring up our youth to become good, wise, active, responsible, and happy people. Our students study foreign languages, Economics, Accountancy, Law, Maths and Typewriting. Our graduates are very successful in the labour market. They usually work in administration, banks, insurance companies, etc., or set up new businesses. Others successfully continue their studies at universities. In our school, there are 386 students aged from 14 to 19. We focus on connecting theoretical knowledge with practical skills. Students create their own training company where they can apply practically everything they have learned theoretically. We often include new teaching methods in our classes, such as the CLIL method for teaching economics, short drama performances, peer-to-peer education, project-based learning, international cooperation in e-Twinning projects, etc. We provide extracurricular activities for our students based on their interests. We want to create a cooperative, respectful, and safe environment in our school.
