Orée 85

L'Orée 85 is a cultural, solidarity and eco-responsible third place which aims to welcome everyone since it has opened its doors in May 2022. It consists of a restaurant, café and bar serving sustainable and homemade food and beverage made of seasonal, local, organic and/or responsible farming production. It also includes a pedagogic field with a vegetable garden and beehives. We propose a cultural programme offering many activities (workshops, screenings, conferences, discussions and debates, karaoke, concerts, jam sessions etc.). We also carry out a community education approach which is co-constructed with local people through cultural lifestyles and sharing our insights of an alternative way of consuming from our stakeholders. Our place is opened to the public from March to October and aims to be privatised the rest of the time for particular events (local organisation meetings, workshops lead by local community and NGOs, birthday celebrations, Christmas meals...).
