Förderverein Europa Zentrum Baden-Württemberg e.V.

Our mission is education about and for Europe. The Europa Zentrum Baden-Württemberg has stood for Europe-related political education since 1976. We are a non-partisan, independent and non-profit organization and work closely with local authorities, the state of Baden-Württemberg, EU agencies and other European policy actors. Thanks to our partners and our broad network, we are both a contact point for Europe-related issues and a strong voice for Europe in Baden-Württemberg. We organize and implement workshops, lectures, discussions, conferences and study trips for a broad audience across Baden-Württemberg. We aim to inform and educate citizens hence we work with different age and/or interest groups, depending on the format. At the core of our work we aim to enable, empower and encourage the citizens for democratic participation. We always assert that the European Union needs its citizens to uphold the very basis of the construct, thus it is an open Union that invites its citizens to co-create and speak their mind, either by "only" voting or by participating in the many opportunities it provides for them.
