Kadın ve Demokrasi Vakfı - KADEM Foundation

The Women and Democracy Foundation (KADEM) is a civil society organisation based in Türkiye that advocates for gender justice, women’s empowerment, and civic participation. Established in 2013, KADEM aims to strengthen the role of women in social, economic, cultural, and political life while promoting justice, human rights, and active citizenship. With a national network of representative offices, KADEM carries out diverse activities including public policy research, advocacy campaigns, awareness-raising events, educational seminars, and EU-funded projects. The organisation places particular emphasis on youth engagement and intergenerational solidarity.
