Our Turkish name is “Sosyoloji Dükkanı” which may be called as “Sociology Shop”. Our organization was founded as a student club in 2013 by students of İstanbul Şehir University. In time, we became an NGO. During this time, we realised many organizational activities about sociology and society. Since 2013, we organized several educational seminars, book and film reading groups, congress about sociology etc. And we also attended programs of other universities and NGOs. If you write “Sosyoloji Dükkanı” at Google, you can find news about our events at national Turkish newspapers plus online pages but unfortunately all news are in Turkish language.
