Shardana

We are the SRDN (Shardana) group which is composed of ten people who are aged 18 to 30 years old. We come from Italy, in particular from Sardinia. Our city is Iglesias which is on the South- West coast. It is a medieval city and the name comes from "Villae ecclesiae" which means "the city of churches". Actually, we have seven churches but our culture is composed by other features which are the mines and also the sea because we live in an Island ;) Iglesias has a population of 31 thousand inhabitants and it's one of the largest cities in the province of Sulcis (which is the poorest part of Italy). However our group loves doing all kind of sports, in particular out-door sports. We love learning new languages, travelling and discovering new cultures. We share the same interests and we have already done many exchanges, so we decided to get together in order to make new experiences!
