Volleyball club Zrinski Nuštar

A grassroots sports organisation from a small rural Croatian community creating European opportunities for young people through sport, learning and international cooperation. ______________________________________ OK Zrinski Nuštar is a non-profit youth and sports organisation from eastern Croatia working with children and young people through volleyball, non-formal learning and international cooperation. We use sport not only for training and competition, but as a practical tool for youth development, teamwork, leadership, wellbeing, inclusion, intercultural learning and community engagement. Our organisation works with children, teenagers and young adults through regular volleyball programmes, youth development activities, international exchanges, local community events and European cooperation projects. We have experience in Erasmus+ Youth Exchanges, Erasmus+ Sport cooperation, cross-border cooperation and international youth activities with partners from several European countries. Recent and ongoing international activities include: • Volley Goes Outdoor – Erasmus+ Youth Exchange involving Croatia, Slovenia and Finland • Erasmus+ Sport cooperation focused on inclusion and sitting volleyball • Cross-border cooperation between volleyball clubs in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina • Youth leadership, wellbeing, inclusion, mobility and intercultural-learning activities We can contribute to international projects through: • recruitment and preparation of young participants • sport-based non-formal learning activities • youth leadership and teamwork activities • volleyball and inclusive-sport expertise • organisation of local and international sports events • project coordination and communication • dissemination, social media and visibility activities • cooperation with schools, local authorities and sports organisations We are especially interested in partnerships related to Youth Exchanges, youth leadership, sport, inclusion, wellbeing, healthy lifestyles, intercultural learning, rural youth, active citizenship and international cooperation. We are looking for reliable, active and communicative European partners who believe in practical youth work and meaningful participation of young people.
