The total number of the students in our school aged 16-18, is 470 with a 40- member teaching staff. Our students have a very good academic status and they excel at Maths, Physics and Robotics competitions. In fact we won the silver medal at the Robotics Olympics 2016. We also take part in MUN, EYP, Debating and Science and Technology simulations and fairs. Our theatre and music team has also been awarded many times in festivals and contests. The average English language level of the students is C (according to CEF). We also have a basketball, volleyball and football team. We are a multi religious school since there are minorities living in our area. In a way we are accustomed to a community of minorities , therefore more openminded as far as refugees are concerned. However, the risk and the rising of radical and far right parties is evident (especially after the Greece and Northern Macedonia agreement). Xanthi ,our school's home is in the north of Greece.
