Verein Türkischer Elternbeiraete im Kreis Böblingen e.V

The Verein Türkischer Elternbeiräte im Kreis Böblingen e.V. (TOAB) is a non-profit organization based in Böblingen, Germany, dedicated to supporting disadvantaged students and their parents in public schools. Established in 1985, TOAB collaborates with 20 teachers across 79 schools, assisting over 1,200 teenagers. The organization provides free educational courses, including German, English, mathematics, and music, as well as cultural and artistic activities like folk dance and Ebru art. TOAB also organizes seminars on topics such as school success, communication, drug prevention, and integration into the German education system. With a strong focus on youth empowerment, social inclusion, and environmental awareness, TOAB fosters a sense of belonging among young people with immigrant backgrounds while encouraging intercultural dialogue and participation in European values.
