SwIdeas is a Swedish enterprise with a social mission that focuses on environmental and social sustainability. SwIdeas is globally aspired, yet regionally rooted in Sweden. Our mission is to support those who provide value both for themselves and their societies by offering needs-based, innovative and creative solutions in education and research. To create meaningful and lasting impact, SwIdeas works through two main units: the Community Development Unit and the Business Development Unit. Together, they allow us to work across sectors, combining research, education, and innovation to create lasting impact. Our expertise lies in enabling learning and development for individuals, organisations, and communities to contribute to a more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable society. SwIdeas collaborates with a wide network of partners and stakeholders, from small and medium-sized enterprises to NGOs, civil society, communities of practice, and the public sector in Sweden, Europe and internationally. We design, manage, and implement projects in collaboration with transnational partners. Our goal is to create practical, research-driven solutions for people, organsations, and communities to learn, connect, and thrive. Our focus is on strengthening communities and promoting sustainability through research, education, and lifelong learning across three main areas: 1. Sustainability – Circular economy, the UN SDGs, ESG reporting, climate action, environmental education, and the interplay between sustainability and businesses. 2. Digital Transformation – Exploring the impact and opportunities of tools as blockchain and Artificial Intelligence for education, as well as media and information literacy and digital learning. 3. Social Inclusion – Promoting social sustainability through inclusion, intercultural communication, accessible education, gender awareness, and community-based entrepreneurship.
