Youth Culture Travel e. V. is a non-profit youth organisation based in Wiesbaden, Germany. We develop and implement non-formal education projects that enable young people to gain new experiences, actively participate in society and connect across cultural and national boundaries. Our work is based on participatory, experiential and non-formal learning methods. Young people are encouraged not only to take part in our activities, but also to contribute their own ideas, take responsibility and actively shape projects. Our current thematic priorities are democracy and active citizenship, health and well-being, and social media and media literacy. Within these areas, we are particularly interested in youth participation, intercultural dialogue, critical thinking, healthy lifestyles, digital literacy and the personal and social development of young people. Our team members bring extensive practical experience in youth work and in the planning, organisation and facilitation of youth trips, exchanges and multi-day educational projects. Before founding the organisation, members of our team had already accompanied and facilitated several national and international youth trips and encounters. This experience covers both the pedagogical support of young people and the organisational aspects of planning and implementing such activities. As an organisation, we have already implemented an international youth exchange between Germany and the Basque Country, including both hosting and mobility activities. Together with the previous experience of our team members, this provides us with a strong practical foundation for developing and implementing high-quality European youth projects. We are now looking to expand our European network and build reliable, long-term partnerships with youth organisations across Europe. We are particularly interested in Erasmus+ Youth Exchanges and future cooperation projects. We are open both to developing and coordinating new project ideas together and to joining suitable projects as a German partner organisation. For us, a good partnership is based on reliability, transparent communication, shared responsibility, active youth participation and a genuine interest in creating high-quality experiences for young people.
