123 Scouts of Lysis

Scouting is a world wide educational movement for young people. Its aim is the fulfilment of their potential using a progressive and enjoyable values-based programme for personal development. 123 Scouts of Lysis belongs to the Scouts Association of Cyprus. Our aim is to promote the development of young people (ages between 7-18) in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities. The aim is achieved by providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training based on The Scout Promise and Law guided by adult leadership. Lots of adventurous, survival, environmental, cultural, outdoor and so many other activities help youngsters to learn team-building skills and develop new friendships.
