Small House Productions

Small House Productions is an informal group of young artists who started coming together to realize a project that took place at the Olde Vechte Foundation (Ommen, the Netherlands). The project "Wonderous Stories: from Xenophobia to Amazement" (https://www.facebook.com/wonder2stories) gave the opportunity for these young artists to come together and realize an artistic project on a social issue. The focus of the group is arts (theater, dance, physical theater etc.) and media (visual arts, video etc) in a social context. Small House Productions also fosters individual projects of its members. We believe that we live in a society where media is expanding and creating a visual identity for its society. This change should be depicted also in arts and in the constant re-examination of what arts can look like in modern society. As a group we intend to foster artists that don't necessarily fit the current development of the artistic industry and society and provide them with the space for anti marginalization.
