Youth for Youth - Novi Sad

Mission of our organisation is trying to build society with less prejudices, with less people suffering from xenophobia and accepting "different". We also want to to educate young people from Serbia about other European cultures thorugh different exchanges. "Youth for Youth" is an organisation which is lead by young people, and which main goal is fight against xenophobia and any kinds of discrimination. We are working also on promoting youth activism through involvenment in different cultural activities. For any further information, we are at yours dispposal :) As we stated already our main goal is fight against xenophobia and any kind of discrimination, but also on promoting youth activism through involvenment in different cultural activities. Also we are working on: - Protection and promotion of Human rights, - Promotion of the different cultural values, - Connecting of young people from Serbia and European countries, - Informing young people about the negative consequences of xenophobia, - Involvement of young people from rural areas in society, - The fight against all forms of discrimination among young people, - Dealing with xenophobia through volunteering, - And other goals helping to deal with xenophobia. For fulfilling it's goals and mission "Youth for youth": - Organizes seminars and trainings in the field of human rights, - Educates young people about other cultures and thus increases the level of multicultural dialogue - Issues publications periodically about other cultures and ethnic minorities - Organizes international youth exchanges - Organizes presentations in rural areas, encouraging involvement of youth in democratic processes - Organizes educational workshops aimed at breaking prejudices about ethnic and religious minorities, and the problem of gender discrimination - Organizes various volunteer activities at the national and international level - Cooperates with other organizations which are dealing with the same issues in country and abroad
