Sport Synergies Limited

Based in the northern most point of the Republic of Ireland, Sport Synergies Limited is an organisation set up through my experiences as a Head Coach of the Development Squad for a major English Premier League Football Club. The Development Squad is for children between the ages of 6 to 11 years of age. The organisation has developed a process that has proven to be extremely successful in empowering children, youth, parents, coaches and teachers in the uses of “The Games for Understanding Model” rather than the technical practice format of coaching. This format allows the participant to start making decisions by problem solving & evaluation from a very early age whilst also developing the requisite skills for Sport in a learning environment with an atmosphere which allows the young player, youth & adult to exude confidence. Sport Synergies has continued to develop through “Sport” and has introduced a major “Synergy” by including Community Development strategies within the aims of the organization. In our opinion the principle driver for developing young people, parents, coaches and teachers is through the Games for Understanding Model although the link to Community Development has allowed for the model to create synergies and commonalities of approach when exploring innovative thinking for the delivery of Education, Training, Youth and Adult participation through the medium of Sport. Why don't you us so we can explore partnership opportunities.
