LATVIJAS PIRMĀS PALĪDZĪBAS VIENĪBA (LATVIAN FIRST AID UNIT)

The society LATVIJAS PIRMĀS PALĪDZĪBAS VIENĪBA (LATVIAN FIRST AID UNIT) works in three different directions: a) Charity room - donation acceptance and provision to assistance; b) First-aid skills training for all stakeholders, including children and young people in schools and kindergartens; c) Free, meaningful leisure for children in the Interest center “Pēcskola”, which aims to encourage children and young people, particularly street children, opportunities for meaningful and useful leisure time spendig , to develop and improve their own interests. Every child or young person can participate in the free interest education, practical work or creative activities. Our accumulated experience working with young people was based on, to gain experience in international cooperation, that is, the European voluntary service programmes organization. In September of 2013 we got approval from the State Agency "International Youth program agency", about the fact that we have assigned a host and sending organisation status.
