Liberian Youths For Progress And Capacity Building

We are a youth organization base in liberia. As we all know Youths in post war country face distinct risks in situation of armed conflict and post-conflict. They are more likely to be recruited into fighting forces; become targets for sexual violence; need and lack reproductive health care, contract sexually transmitted infections (STIs) including HIV; head households; be forced to generate livelihood for themselves and others; and miss out on education opportunities. Therefore we as young talented people are trying make liberia be a better place for youth because young people are also the greatest resource to achieving reconciliation and reconstruction.
