Associazione Alplurale

Alplurale is an Association of Social Promotion born in 2009 with the goals of solidarity, social promotion, and the improvement of the quality of life in the local community. We promote an active citizenship, social inclusion and the “well-being”, offering new services, cultural as well as recreational activities designed for all age groups. Special attention is focused onto the vulnerable and disadvantaged groups, for which social networks of people, institutions along with organizations are built and strengthen ed with the aim of making them being included and an active part of the society. MISSION ALPLURALE believes in teamwork and solidarity and works to promote “WELL-BEING”, meant as living healthy and with a good quality of life, so its efforts are always aiming to improve the quality of life of people from a thoroughly perspective. We believe each person’s dignity should have to be respected but meanwhile we work to support their own autonomy, helping them into being socially included as well as active thanks to counselling and training courses that can help in exploiting their own skills and resources. We work hard to help in building bridges between people and the territory they live in, while activate social networks between institutions and people for realizing the idea of an active citizenship. We propose and produce innovation through experimental tools –above all in the ICT field -capable of activating development, and therefore social changes. What We Do Alplurale is active in the following fields providing services, courses and activities: YOUNG, AGED AND DISABLED: Alplurale plans and implements together with Municipalities, Institutions and Schools: - activities for school students and young about being “Active Citizenship”; -sport activities for children so to support an healthy lifestyle involving also nutritional aspects; - computer courses for the aged to support their “active ageing”; - art -related workshops for the disabled to facilitate in different ways their own expressivity; -international youth Workcamp about the knowledge of the environment, its resources and its safeguard. Moreover, Alplurale is taking part into a Project - recently funded by the Italian Ministry for Youth Policies- for the management of a centre for youth aggregation that will be hosted in a historical palace. IMMIGRANTS: Alplurale - being established in one of the first outpost in the Mediterranean–has as one of its own main duty to provide Italian language and culture courses to facilitate their social inclusion through the knowledge of the language along with the legal rights acquired. We work with long -time established regional and national networks of institutions,schools and social organizations dealing with the immigration issue to raise awareness while suggesting different solutions for making easier a peaceful cohabitation. ENVIRONMENT AND TERRITORY ENHANCEMENT: Alplurale cooperates with vocational centre students, associations, schools and other local stakeholders on the widespread of information about how to defend the environment, organizing meeting on the local naturalistic/historical and cultural resources of the territory or implementing workshops for children and young about recycling. INFORMATION: We collaborate on to the violence against women issue, organizing campaigns that through videos made in cooperation with schools and local Public Institutions - can raise awareness among society. Workshops, addressed mainly to children, on a healthier nutrition have also been held. EUROPEAN PARTENSHIPS: European Partnerships have been built and established for the European Calls about: - COSME Programme 2014 – on Tourism flows in the low and medium season - Networks of Towns - Europe for Citizens Programme - Daphne – on rights defense and anti-violence initiatives In addition, Alplurale’s staff has taken part into LLP - Lifelong Learning Programme specifically for “In Training service” courses and “Study Visits”. Thank to these, international networks have been built. COURSES AND TRAINING: We work jointly with a regional vocational training centre for adults on the traineeship period regarding the fields of: - marketing/communication; - cultural/touristic resources; - food and wine local resources; - Web Developing and ICT tools.
