Edu4youth

Edu4 Youth is an informal youth group founded by teachers working in research and development department of Düzce Anadolu İmam Hatip High School in Turkey. Our main aim is to provide young people with fewer opportunities to develop their entrepreneurship, communication and intercultural skills. Our activities: Promoting meetings between young people and people from different professional backgrounds. Organizing social, touristic, cultural visits for young peaople with fewer opportunities ( young people with fewer opportinities like living remote parts of the city and minorities) Planning and conducting international, Erasmus +, e-twinning and local projects Building sustainable networks in local and international platform. In our projects we collaborate with a variet of organizations, NGO, university, schools and youth groups promote non-formal education methods, innovative web 2 tools in education, counselling for carrier development, social inclusion and intercultural dialogue. Our team consists of several voluntary members and youth leaders as well as young professionals with various profiles. Our youth leaders have already experienced youth exchange and training programs, web2 tools and nonformal education. Our staff regularly check and attend the trainings about the youth programs which are organized both by Turkish National Agency in Turkey, and by the other agencies from abroad. Additionally, our team actively working together in school research and development department of Düzce Anatolian Imam Hatip High School. As it mentioned above, along with its young and professional staff, the center has already many voluntary workmates, who are mostly highschool students between the ages of 14- 19. Research and developmetn department members are regularly organizing many social activities, alongside helping the center’s own projects. As the center of the young population our biggest motivation about Erasmus+ Projects comes from these voluntary acts, in which young people plays important roles and makes great contributions both themselves and the other youngsters.
