La Sabina de El Bonillo

La Sabina is a non-profit and non-religious association officially established in El Bonillo in September 2015. Our vision is an active community whose fulfillment of the existing and emerging needs comes from its own resources through citizen initiative, cooperation of stakeholders and democratic participation, making thus the solutions (and as a result the development) sustainable in the long run. We see youth as the engine of change and Our mission is to bring young people closer to the community by empowering them to become actors of the change they want to see rather than being passive receivers through: - encouraging their participation and initiative taking in local projects, - building their capacities through informal learning by the participation in European projects and youth exchanges, contributing thus to the enhancement of their professional and personal development - offering a space for them to develop their own initiatives. Though a very young association, we already have implemented youth exchanges in El Bonillo, and are active in local in local intiatives, contributing thus not only to the development of they young people involved but of the whole community
