EXPERIENCE Lingua Consulting Limited liability company focuses mainly on education of children, youth and adults. We also undertake non-formal education activities. Within Corporate Social Responsibility the following social groups are in our organization’s centre of attention: volunteers, NEETs, people (children, youth) with economic/ geographic obstacles, the socially excluded, the disabled and the culturally diversified. CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY & VALUES Under CSR Programme and Strategy our organization pursues the following objectives: • educational and cultural activity, particularly aimed at developing young children or youngsters’ talents; supporting adult education • initiating and supporting innovative techniques or solutions (different fields of social life) • supporting non-formal education, through succouring reforms in education, the exchange of good practices and mobility of individuals (youth exchanges, voluntary service) • shaping pro-European civic attitudes • civic counselling • promotion of tourism • popularizing new technologies in far-fetched counselling services • protection of human rights and freedom • educational and research initiatives in the field of human rights • environment protection • vocational and social rehabilitation (NEETs) • health protection • popularizing the idea of integration • shaping and strengthening tolerance towards cultural and religious diversity • implementation of democracy rules • combating addictions, violence, racism, xenophobia, populism • reinforcing European cohesion and the appurtenance to EU The company has developed a wide network of international partners in Europe and actively supports focus groups, special interests groups, forums and blogs run by youngsters who want to deepen their passions and voice their beliefs and convictions in public. The target groups of our activities range from pre-school children, through early school and young children, youth, adults to senior citizens. We organise plenty of social activities for people of all ages. We have a team of project managers with long-term experience in the preparation, submission and implementation of concept notes, project proposals, as well as in the coordination of international partnerships or multilateral consortia, the administrative and financial management of actions at local, national and EU level. Capacity is about growth: growth of the individual in knowledge, skills and experience. Growth of the group that surrounds this individual as these skills and knowledge are passed on. And from this individual and group, growth of a society and nation. NEET is to be distinguished from the newly coined NLFET rate used in the 2013 report on Global Employment Trends for Youth by the International Labour Organization. This group, which is still growing, requires special attention and care, particularly in the era of digitalization. Hence, we became a private training agency and consultancy body. The company entered into cooperation with many institutions, vocational training centres, training companies and IT companies providing cutting-edge solutions in the education market. Capacity development is about supporting growth – within individuals, groups and across societies as a whole. Therefore, our mission is to offer support however and wherever it is most needed – to people on the ground as well as to national and international agencies. We are always guided in our support by what we have learned in practice about capacity development. We cooperate with trainers and teachers from all over Poland, as well as outside the country in order to plan and implement non-formal and formal education activities. Being a training agency and conferring professional qualifications or certificates of permanent and continuous training, we have been cooperating with 3 major Trade Unions in our region for a couple of years. At the moment we are responsible for the implementation of the youth initiative called “3D Youth” together with EGInA Srls from Italy: we have already oriented over 500 NEETS aged between 18 and 29 and offered them qualification courses and traineeships. Under this project the following courses are offered: • 2D/ 3D Solid/ Surface modelling for 3D printing (mechanical engineering, handicraft) • Virtual reality for PR/ marketing experts RESEARCH, DEVELOPMENT & INNOVATION Our research team comprises lecturers and researchers from University of Social Sciences (Higher Education Centre). We also cooperate with industrial engineers, experts in social sciences, accredited and certified scientists. Their discoveries and observations are publicised in periodicals and scientific journals that are recognized by many national and overseas universities. We constantly try to design and realize innovative solutions and services for various target groups, taking advantage of a proved network of international relations and partnerships through prior analysis and interpretation of youth’s needs and expectations with the proper use of the given territory’s resources. In addition, we are coordinating a two-year project entitled “Head-to-toe Entrepreneurs”, which aims at promoting a sense of entrepreneurship and multiculturalism among students within the last two years of vocational school through activation of practical experience of learning. Our research teams focus on developing new methods of learning and teaching as well aiming to facilitate the assimilation of knowledge and acquisition or development of new competences. One of the latest ones is modern and well-developed connectivism that is a digital age learning theory, trying to improve learners’ useful skills (e.g. critical thinking, problem-solving) through connecting all learning experiences of all fellow learners. Under the programme a special e-platform is now under construction. TRANSNATIONAL MOBILITY Lingua Consulting Ltd. acts also as a sending, hosting and intermediating organization in the field of transnational mobility. On the basis of our organizational competences and facilities we offer the best international educational experience for both outgoing and incoming learners.
