Espace Centre Calais

Dear all, we are looking for a British, Irish or Scottish partner to welcome and then come to France with a group of 10 young French and 10 young British / Scottish / Irish. All costs would be covered. It is a project on Franco-UK citizenship, before the European elections of May 2019, on a theme to be defined among young people. The young French people would come for 5 to 6 days in April (from 8 to 14.04.2018) and then welcome the young British / Scottish / Irish for 3 days in Calais ( in the Pas de Calais / Region des Hauts de France). Do not hesitate to us as soon as possible, we need an answer as soon as possible to submit an Erasmus + funding application! WITH MORE DETAILS... "Espace Centre" is a local association that reaches all audiences: adults, families, children and young people. It is located in Calais, a city of 80,000 inhabitants, on the North Sea and English Channel coasts, in the Hauts de France region. It develops collective actions to strengthen social and family ties in order to "live better together" and to develop people's skills and involve them in social life. Within the framework of the Erasmus+ project, it is a question of making the active citizenship of young Calaisians live by making them responsible through a European project of proximity. The idea is to come 5 to 6 days to the United Kingdom and invite the group of British young people to a 3-day stay in France, in direct reciprocity. Young people, aged 13 to 17, want to discover British culture, immerse themselves in the daily life of a structure, and build a programme of activities with a group of young people according to a common theme (culture or sport or gastronomy or photo reportage...). It is a question of building a project that will allow everyone to present themselves, to be an actor in their approach and to evoke Franco-British citizenship.
