Konya Metropolitan Municipality Kilicarslan Youth Center

Our organization especially Kilicarslan Youth Center works on youth activism, youth mobilities, local-international activities, strategic partnerships. Our mission is to provide the benefit of the youth to humanity combining all of their capacity of production on track participation of democracy, is based on the principle the voluntariness and the transparency. We are working with young people to discover their potential and motivate them in order to improve their personal development through non-formal education and informal learning. And, to get into the act in the national and international area for contributing to the Turkish Republic raising awareness about our country's historical, social, cultural, scientific, strategical and geopolitical knowledge without any profit-making purpose. Our vision is Konya Metropolitan Municipality aims to provide to the today's youth, which is the future's public director, the participation to the individual, social, cultural, scientific, artistic and sporty activities and the opportunity being able to speak knowledgeably or authoritatively about everything. As an active municipal organization, we have strong experience regarding this application. We built partnership more than 50 countries and more than 100 organizations. We are working with the cooperation of all the departments of municipality, and we implement projects from major to volunteers together. Konya Metropolitan Municipality has implemented several projects in the frame of Youth in Action, Erasmus + programs. We have many experiences not only in organizing youth exchanges, training courses, but also we organize some cultural- traditional events such as Sema Seramonies, Fener Alayı, Şivlilik, local project conferences, flash mob, voluntary projects and more. We are willing to implement projects, interested to learn more and to contribute our experience, connections, and knowledge in this field. We have plenty of experience in the field of Adult Education and Youth (KA1, KA2, KA3) as well. From 2009 to now we organized many projects in the field of youth KA1, here are some of them and their keywords; -I S(up)port: Sport, Nature, Integration of disabled people -Let's Share Cultures, Overcome Problems: Culture, Social competences; -Oh My God Sille!: Culturel, Bridge between Turkey and Greece, Photography. -Emotional Wing of Universe: Cultural awareness and expression. -Environmental Consciousness of Photo Frame: Photography, Naturel Environment, Hobbies, -Traditional Cuisine in Heart of Tolerance: Gastronomy, Social & Culturel Awareness. -Dear Nature Help Me!: Sport, Nature, Social Inclusion. -Good Morning Freedom!: Woman employability and Entrepreneurship, Youth. -Let’s Do it!: Cleanliness of Nature, Youth. -MOVE: Education and Migration Problems.
