Co.p.e. n.g.o.

Founded in 1983, Co.p.e. ngo is devoted to the international voluntary service, non-formal learning activities and awareness-rising and active citizenship campaigns and, due to its experience, it is specialized in the involvment of a young target of participants. COPE engages itself in: -non-formal learning development and training of trainers on the most innovative best practices of non-formal and peer-to-peer learning; -promoting working experiences in developing countries among young volunteers and adult professionals, selecting them and providing them with technical training; -raising awareness and advocacy campaigns concerning fair development, multiculturalism, migration and integration; -alphabetization and VET with regard to migrants, refugees, asylum seekers, NEETs; VISION Our work is driven by the desire to contribute to building a world in which every person can enjoy fundamental rights, including the right to food, health, education and a decent life, promoting the self-development capacity of each people. We encourage, therefore, the meeting between cultures different to overcome barriers and prejudices that lead to conflict and discrimination. MISSION Our association carries out development cooperation projects abroad in the fields of youth, health and agriculture, educational and social model, in favour of an economic model that reduces the inequalities in the distribution of the global wealth. In Europe we carry out awareness-raising and training activities in the field of non-formal learning, peer-to-peer education, Education to Global Citizenship (EGC) in collaboration with other european CSOs promoting the idea of "networking".
