AYAŞLI KADINLAR DERNEĞİ Ayaşlı Women's Association was established in 2014 and started its activities. The purpose of our association; To provide services to young people and all society, especially disadvantaged women, young people, disabled people and children who live in rural areas.We currently have 525 registered members. Our Association; There are clothing and patchwork workshops, training classes, education and entertainment classes that serve youth and children. Our association cooperates continuously with local, regional, national and international NGOs, public and local administrations and universities. In this direction; women and youth primarily organize short-term trainings, social, cultural, artistic and sports activities for all target audiences. Skill development courses are organized for women in clothing, patchwork, various handicrafts, doll making, etc. In these courses and other social cultural events, we receive expertise support by collaborating with universities and health institutions. In addition, we provide services to those in need by conducting health scans in our region with public institutions, non-governmental organizations and private health institutions that provide services on health issues.We have collaborated with 33 NGOs operating in Ayaş district and villages so far. Accordingly, disadvantaged women and youth in rural areas; We provided training, information and consultancy support on issues such as increasing participation in social life and civil society, crafts, clothing, patchwork training, agriculture, animal husbandry, fruit and vegetable growing. In addition, we have been advocating for some disabled people and groups in our region at local and national level. We actively participate in civil society projects carried out in Ankara and take part in various activities. So far, we have taken part in participating and participating in projects and other activities carried out by Ayaş, Sincan, Etimesgut district municipalities and Ankara Metropolitan Municipalities. We have partnered locally in Civil Society Support projects carried out at national level, actively participated in training and various meetings. We have organized at least one social event every month for young people, women and disabled people with limited economic opportunities and disadvantages living in the countryside of our region, and visits to art, cinema and music, close-up visits and participation in civil society are provided.
