II C.S.V. Brindisi-Lecce has the task of organizing, managing and providing technical and training support services and information to promote and strengthen the presence and role of volunteers in all third party entities sector. It works in the interest and for the promotion of volunteering and, in this context, it proposes to: promoting tools and initiatives aimed at promoting the growth of a culture of solidarity, stimulating forms of participation and active citizenship by organizations and individuals, as well as the promotion of new voluntary initiatives and the strengthening of existing ones. Peculiarity of the CSV is the offer of assistance and consultancy for the design, start-up and implementation of specific social projects. As part of its activities, it provides consultancy and carries out initiatives for training and qualification, carries out studies and research, collects and makes information available, news, data and documentation on local voluntary and Third Sector activities and organizations, regional, national and international and, in general, on issues of relevance to the aforementioned organizations. CSV's action is also aimed at developing local networks between voluntary organizations and structures public and private training, with economic operators, with the media and, in general, with all other social workers involved and interested in voluntary activities. As part of its own activities the CSV organizes seminars, meetings, conferences and any other activities related to the statute. In pursuing its goals, the CSV constantly seeks collaboration and complementarity with other bodies, with local authorities, with universities, with businesses and with private organizations themselves social, be they associations, cooperatives, foundations, federations, voluntary groups, movements.
