People of 2050

People of 2050 is an organisation providing trainings with the purpose of inspiring, empowering and raising the overall climate change awareness. The organization persuades the following objectives: • To inspire, empower and raise the overall climate change and environmental awareness amongst European youth. • To engage young people in intercultural learning and dialogue process through non-formal education. • To promote the Sustainable Development goals by educating and inspiring the youth . • To foster youth participation, active citizenship and involvement in democratic processes at local and European level. • To raise awareness on various educational opportunities available for young people through Erasmus+ and other sources. • To improve young people’s competences, personal and professional development for widening their employability perspectives. Currently there are 5 members working for the organisation and about 20 volunteers as well as different people willing to contribute from time to time. We are doing our best to help people with fewer opportunities and we include volunteers from national minorities, unemployed and youths from both rural and urban areas in our projects.
