Eurobug Youth Work and Collaboration

Eurobug is an Irish NGO led by young migrant professionals who have implemented strategic partnerships and 18 international youth exchange projects since 2014. We work with a pool of young people who shape our organisation while receiving ongoing training and mentoring opportunities. Our team is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating local and international educational projects that allow participants to develop a self-defined strategy of learning in the framework of non-formal education. Our focus areas are on migrant participation and research, digital skills education and non-formal education. Our activities and projects are created and delivered in collaboration with other organizations. In Ireland, we collaborate with the National Youth Council of Ireland which provides us with ongoing support, guidance, and collaboration opportunities. Kelvin Akpaloo - Creative Director Originally from Ghana, Kelvin came to Ireland just over ten years ago and now has his Irish citizenship. Drawing on his Bachelors in Media and Management, and his extensive experience within international youth work, Kelvin initiates and facilitates creative activities with the Eurobug Youth Group in Kilkenny. As a freelancer, he works as a choreographer and as a performer.
