FAMART - Associação Cultural e Artística Juvenil

To Create, Innovate, Disseminate, Approach are the buzz words of FAMART, a youth organization, based in Vila Nova de Famalicão. Founded in January of 2021 by a group of young musicians with activity in different countries in Europe, FAMART identifies itself as a meeting place for young artists, favoring the development of artistic fusion projects, with a strong musical component. Its purposes include the promotion and dissemination of new artistic and musical projects, namely in chamber music, in addition to a constant approach and interaction with local communities, always with the strong intention of attracting new audiences. Furthermore, it also aims to explore points of with Portuguese talents in the cultural and artistic diaspora. FAMART has already developed a series of strategic partnerships with cultural entities of reference, both in the national and international panorama, enabling the development of a solid and supported future activity. As a result, FAMART has gradually established itself in the region of Vale do Ave with significant success. As an example of that vibrant set of activities, we can name the co-production of CIMS - Cidnay International Masterclass Series, a festival that affirms a holistic vision, a promotor of musical excellence, with an international character.
