Bio Farmers.gr is a non-profit organization with the title: "market for organic producers" The purpose of the organization is to promote organic farming, sustainable crop management, protection of the natural environment, tackling climate change and promoting sustainable development, through the proper management of organic crops. To achieve our goal we prepare actions, seminars, and experiential trainings related to the triptych of sustainable development: environment, economy, society, with emphasis on: a) biodiversity conservation, sustainable management and ecosystems, b. tackling climate change, switching to renewable energy sources, energy efficiency, energy saving, c) adapting to climate change, d) moving to a sustainable economy, e) promoting social prosperity and cohesion and f) improving the quality of life of citizens. In our organization we have as certified producers of organic products with extensive experience in agricultural organic farming, livestock organic farming and beekeeping. Most of our organic farmers are young and have a university level education. The members of the administrative department have also been involved in the implementation of educational programs for school students, university students, as well as in groups of adults from 18-65 years old. The head training (George Karipidis) of our organization is a beekeeper and head training of a state educational organization with the name Center for Environmental Education in the Region of Drama - Greece.
