Blackwater Training & Consulting was established in 2022 in recognition of the challenges that young people in rural Ireland face in accessing employment and training opportunities. Young people have a myriad of skills and ideas, but unfortunately, economic circumstances force them to migrate, often to Australia, Canada, and New Zealand. As a result, Blackwater Training and Consulting supports young people to realise their full potential through the provision of services including advice, coaching, mentoring and training supports. The name of the company symbolises a path that every person we interact with is currently on, and a progression towards to new sustainable life, full of economic opportunities and employment. At Blackwater Training & Consulting, we inspire young people to become change makers of the future. Our motto: “connect, empower, educate and create”; supports us: to connect with young people within our regions; to empower them to self-actualise to their fullest potential; to be educated on new methodologies and practices, in order to create a sustainable future that they desire for themselves.
