BEDER ENGELLİLERİ DESTEKLEME DERNEGİ

BEDER, which works for visually, hearing, speaking, mental, physical and spiritual-emotional (schizophrenia, etc.) disability groups, is headquartered in Istanbul's Beylikdüzü district. While BEDER continues its classical association activities (wheelchair, walking stick, equipment support and distribution, food, clothing, stationery, catering, etc.), it also implements projects for health, education and employment. It is the first non-governmental organization in the region that brings together the services of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and its members and has carried out joint studies on its subject. — BEDER (Supporting All Disabled Assosiation) is the first association, it has been established to support all disabled groups from (Istanbul) Bakırköy to Silivri in the region. Only non govermental organization in the region and it has made the common workings with the services Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. — In the Region, for the first time, with public trainig centers and «İŞKUR», the computer operator courses have been organised for visual and phisical disabilities and the students who partipated the courses, have been given their sertificates.(employment and vocational training for young disabled) — In the near future BEDER will form the projects with the source of Europe and World Bank Funds. In the region, care, rehabilitiation and training centers are great needs. In order to be established these centers, BEDER will continue to work. — Hope of the bee Project is the first and only project in Turkey and also in the World that brings «appiculture» and «difabled young people» together. With the help of this projects that is being supported by European Union Central Finance Department and the Ministry of Family and Social Policies, it is aimed disabled people to take part in social life actively. To set a good example for the employment; to make community conscious against negative attitude and discrimantory affairs towards disabled ones in both social and economical life and it is also aimed to contribute to the dialogues among NGOs.
