Junior High School of Episkopi

Junior High School of Episkopi is a public lower secondary education school located in a semi-mountainous rural area of Heraklion, Crete, and serves approximately 100 students. Despite the geographical challenges of the area, our school is characterized by openness, creativity, and a strong willingness to participate in innovative activities. Our educational team consists of teachers from various disciplines, with excellent knowledge of foreign languages, the use of ICT in teaching, and postgraduate studies. European Experience Our school has developed significant experience in eTwinning, having implemented numerous collaborative projects, as well as participating in the European pilot program CRISS Horizon 2020 for the development of digital skills. At the same time, our students have participated in and been distinguished in nationwide student competitions. Interest in Partnerships We are a school open to cooperation with European educational institutions. With a solid foundation in eTwinning and experience in collaborative projects, we now seek to expand our activities through Erasmus+, participating in teacher and student mobility actions and international partnerships for the exchange of good practices and the enhancement of our students’ learning opportunities.
