PLAMEN is a Serbian non-profit youth organisation working to empower young people through non-formal education, leadership development, digital innovation and active participation in society. We work with young people from across Serbia, creating inclusive spaces for learning, growth and meaningful participation. Our approach is built on the principles of non-formal education, experiential learning, peer learning and participatory methods. Through workshops, training courses, seminars and community-based initiatives, we support young people in developing personal, social and professional competences, including leadership, communication, teamwork, critical thinking, creativity and problem-solving, that prepare them to navigate the modern world with confidence. A specific strength of PLAMEN is the integration of digital technologies into youth work. Our team combines expertise in non-formal education with experience in software development and digital innovation, which allows us to design modern educational approaches, promote digital literacy, and encourage young people to use technology in a creative, ethical and meaningful way. PLAMEN actively cooperates with youth organisations and NGOs across Europe, contributing to international learning experiences, intercultural dialogue and the development of quality youth work. Through Erasmus+ youth exchanges, training courses and other international activities, we create opportunities for young people to grow beyond their local context, exchange good practices and build lasting networks. Through the combination of local action and international cooperation, PLAMEN supports the development of a new generation of leaders, innovators, entrepreneurs and community advocates, young people who are prepared to contribute to sustainable social change in their communities and beyond.
