Bafra Bilim ve Sanat Merkezi

Bafra Science and Art Center (Bafra Bilim ve Sanat Merkezi) is a public educational institution under the Turkish Ministry of National Education, located in Bafra, Samsun. Founded in 2022, the center provides specialized education for gifted and talented students aged 8 to 18, focusing on academic excellence, creativity, and personal development. We serve 136 students who are selected through a national talent identification process. They come from four neighboring districts — Bafra, Alaçam, Yakakent, and 19 Mayıs — and represent a diverse range of public and private schools. Our programs are designed to meet individual learning needs through personalized mentoring, interdisciplinary studies, and flexible, student-centered approaches. The center promotes innovation, sustainability, and digital transformation in education. We actively implement eTwinning projects and encourage international collaboration to broaden students’ perspectives and foster intercultural understanding. Our dedicated teaching staff has extensive experience in non-formal and formal education, and we are highly motivated to take part in Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps projects to build long-term partnerships, improve professional competences, and contribute to high-quality youth work across Europe.
