"Strong Minds, Strong Prisons" project aims to enhance the psychological resilience of trainers working with youth in correctional facilities, support their emotional well-being, and develop effective tools to work with young people in this challenging environment. The project will be supported by training activities, workshops, sharing of good practices, and tangible outputs (Resilience Handbook, online training module) conducted together with international partners. **The project objectives can be briefly summarized as follows:** * To improve psychological resilience, stress management, and self-care skills of youth workers in correctional facilities. * To enhance the methods and tools used by professionals working with young people in prisons and to share pedagogical approaches specific to this field. * To promote solidarity and professional cooperation among youth workers in partner countries. * To contribute to reducing taboos and prejudices related to mental health and emotional well-being. * To make the developed training materials (handbook, module, podcast) openly accessible to benefit youth workers across Europe. Through this project, we aim to demonstrate that trainers working with youth in correctional facilities are not alone, that they can be supported, and that they can continue their work more strongly and effectively. At the same time, we aim to make a concrete contribution to the Erasmus+ programme priorities such as inclusion, diversity, professional development, and psychological well-being.
