Giustizia Climatica Ora! Catania

Giustizia Climatica Ora! Catania is a non-profit youth organisation based in Catania (Sicily, Italy), born from the Fridays For Future Catania movement (active since 2019). Our mission is to raise awareness and foster policies for climate justice by combining community engagement, advocacy and non-formal education. We organise trainings, workshops and learning activities, produce educational materials, and run public events and campaigns to mobilise citizens and strengthen youth participation in environmental decision-making. We also take part in European projects and local active citizenship initiatives, building collaborations with organisations and local institutions to widen the impact and dissemination of results. Our main target group is young people aged 18–30, while also involving teenagers, adults and local stakeholders interested in sustainability and civic engagement.
