Association Espace d'Espoir Guercif

Association Espace Espoir Guercif is a Moroccan non-profit organisation based in Guercif, in the Oriental Region. It works to promote the social, educational and economic inclusion of women, children and young people, particularly those facing social or economic vulnerability. The association manages community-based education, training and support activities. Its main areas of intervention include women’s empowerment, gender equality, prevention of gender-based violence, literacy and post-literacy education, vocational training, digital inclusion, entrepreneurship, employability and active citizenship. The association runs a listening and guidance service for women affected by violence, as well as an education and vocational training centre offering activities in information technology, sewing, hairdressing, cooking and pastry-making. It also organises non-formal education, cultural, educational and awareness-raising activities for children and young people. Association Espace Espoir Guercif has experience in cooperation with public institutions, local authorities and civil society organisations. It holds a European Solidarity Corps Quality Label as a Hosting Organisation and seeks to strengthen its international partnerships in the fields of youth mobility, volunteering, intercultural learning and community development. Through European cooperation projects, the association aims to exchange good practices, develop the skills of its team and beneficiaries, and host volunteers who can contribute to socio-educational activities, digital communication, language learning and women’s empowerment.
