ProVeg

ProVeg International is a food awareness organisation working to accelerate the transition to a sustainable global food system by making plant-rich foods and alternative proteins more accessible and appealing. Our vision is a world where the food we eat is good for all people, animals, and our planet. We work across policy, business, and public engagement to make sustainable food choices mainstream. Our core programmes include School Plates, which helps schools and public caterers offer more plant-based meals; the ProVeg Incubator, which supports startups developing alternatives to animal-based foods; corporate engagement to expand plant-based product ranges; and policy and advocacy work at EU and national level to advance sustainable food systems. ProVeg operates in 14 countries across five continents and collaborates with governments, businesses, scientists, and civil society. We hold a Strategic Partnership with EIT Food and contribute to European networks on food-system transformation, protein diversification, and regenerative agriculture. Our approach is evidence-based, solutions-oriented, and built on partnership.
