INICIA Foundation is a non-profit organisation registered in Asturias, Spain, working to strengthen social inclusion, civic participation, education and community development. Our mission is to contribute to more inclusive, informed and resilient communities by connecting citizens, organisations and institutions and developing practical initiatives with social impact. Our main areas of interest include: • youth participation, empowerment and active citizenship; • civic and democratic education; • social inclusion and integration of vulnerable groups; • education, lifelong learning and non-formal learning; • volunteering and community engagement; • social entrepreneurship and social innovation; • digital transformation and responsible AI for civil society; • critical thinking, media literacy and combating disinformation; • environmental awareness and sustainable community development; • rural development, agro-social initiatives and community-based activities; • European cooperation, networking and exchange of good practices. We are particularly interested in initiatives that transform knowledge into practical action and create measurable benefits for local communities. INICIA is interested in participating in Erasmus+ Youth projects, including Youth Exchanges, Mobility projects, Training Courses, Cooperation Partnerships and other European cooperation initiatives. We are especially interested in projects connecting youth participation, civic education, inclusion, social innovation, digital tools, democratic resilience and community development. We are open to cooperation with NGOs, youth organisations, educational institutions, municipalities, social enterprises, universities and other public-interest organisations. INICIA is also interested in developing long-term European partnerships, starting as a reliable project partner and progressively strengthening its capacity to coordinate and implement international projects. We value partnerships based on openness, transparency, mutual support, practical cooperation and genuine social impact.
